Keep in mind that if we were to reach a T/A (tentative agreement) it will be out for the membership to vote on. At that point, once the T/A is done the company can not go to the judge until the decision of the vote is back. If it does not pass, then at at that point, the company will take the last ask to the court, which it could be what they posted on jetnet. What we are attempting to reach as YOUR negotiating committee is something that AE will accept so our members can vote on it and hopefully get it pass. Bankruptcy Update for April 26, 2012
TWU Negotiators reconvened meetings with the company on Tuesday April 24 at Flagship University. The TWU did not meet with Eagle negotiators the previous week, in order to give them time to gather requested documents. The TWU negotiators continued reviewing the few documents that had been provided and updated by the company.
Labor attorney Christina Gornail continues assisting the TWU Negotiating Committee’s in meeting with Eagle negotiators and drafting specific questions regarding the company’s proposals.
On Tuesday the company provided TWU negotiators revised financial models. TWU’s economist, John Donnelly, has been reviewing and analyzing the economic forecasts and financial assumptions outlined in these revisions. Company financial models are quite detailed and require an in depth assessment, often generating even more questions of the company’s methodologies.
The TWU will continue meeting with Eagle through the week trying to reach a consensual agreement. Our negotiators will reconvene pre 1113 negotiations again next Tuesday May 1 at FSU.
Bankruptcy update for May 4, 2012
TWU Negotiators reconvened meetings with the company on Tuesday, May 1 at Flagship University. The TWU negotiators continued receiving and reviewing documents that had been provided and updated by the company, in an effort to assess the asks and move towards potential consensual deals.
TWU's economist, John Donnelly, met with the company again regarding their financial models. He continues to assist the groups in their analysis of the Company's asks. Also assisting the TWU negotiators throughout this process, labor attorneys Mark Richard and Christina Gornail continued to meet with the teams for all workgroups this week.
Our negotiators will reconvene pre 1113 negotiations again next Tuesday, May 8 at FSU, and continue to work hard to reach consensual deals with the company.
